Open Days

How can I take part?

  1. Check the date

    Information about Open Days is published on www.senat.gov.pl and senat.edu.pl, as well as on the Senate’s social media channels.

  2. Bring proof of identity

    Remember to bring a photographic identity document. You will be asked to present it to the Marshal’s Guard.

  3. Go to the Pass Office

    Present your identity document at the building at ul. Wiejska 10. You will also undergo security screening there.

What you will see during your visit

The key places in the building of the Senate of the Republic of Poland:

  • 1. Senate Chamber

    The place where senators debate and votes are held.

  • 2. Office of the Marshal of the Senate

    The office where the Marshal of the Senate, the highest-ranking office-holder in the upper house, works and makes decisions.

  • 3. Foyer

    The area where informal discussions take place. It also features portraits of former Marshals of the Senate.

Important information

  • Tours of the building of the Senate of the Republic of Poland are free of charge and no booking is required during Open Days.
  • The buildings are accessible to persons with disabilities.
  • Please ensure that your dress and behaviour are appropriate to the nature and dignity of the institution.
